About us

Cinètik is an independent film and television production company based in Brno, founded in 2004 by filmmaker and producer Roman Zmrzlý. It focuses on modern and historical history, popularizing these topics for younger audiences. Its work rests on two main pillars: narrative short films that bring history to life—created in long-term collaboration with museums—and original documentary production centered on memory.
